Sigrid Gabler is an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, and an instructor of nursing at Columbia University School of Nursing, where she received her BS and MS degrees. She is board certified in adult-gerontology primary care by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). In addition to her clinical education, she holds a PhD in anthropology from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor or Arts degree from Harvard University.
Gabler provides holistic care for adults while focussing on health promotion, disease prevention and management, wellness and episodic (e.g. bronchitis, pneumonia, conjunctivitis) care. Her clinical and research interests include the specific health needs of LGBTQ individuals. In addition to her clinical practice at the Nurse Practitioner Group, Gabler is the NP for the Elder LGBT Interprofessional Collaborative Care (e-linc) program at Columbia.
