The ColumbiaDoctors Nurse Practitioner Group offers an inclusive and welcoming experience for all patients, including those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT), and provides comprehensive LGBT care services.

Our primary care services are designed to meet the diverse health needs of our communities. No matter what kind of care you need — or where you are on your health journey — we will make sure you receive the best care possible.

With expertise in primary care, mental health and specialty care services for older adults and those living with HIV, our team of board-certified nurse practitioners ensure access to the best care possible.

Our LGBT Healthcare Services

Our providers have expertise in LGBT health, and work together with individuals — both children and adults — and families to develop a comprehensive and personalized health plan, integrating primary care and behavioral health services.

  • Primary and preventative health screenings
  • Transgender healthcare, including hormone therapy*
  • Sexual and reproductive health care
  • Sexually transmitted infection / Sexually transmitted disease (STI / STD) testing and treatment
  • HIV pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP and PEP)
  • Immunizations such as Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and Meningitis

Our Facilities

Our facilities in New York City are equipped with exam rooms and consultation rooms for patient counseling.

Notice: 1 trains are bypassing the 168th Street subway station in both directions until early 2020. A and C trains are continuing to stop at the station. This change may directly impact visitors of the Washington Heights location. For more information and transit alternatives click here.

Our Washington Heights facility was newly constructed and opened in September 2016, and is located down the street from other ColumbiaDoctors clinical specialty practices. We are located at 516 West 168th Street.
