To Our Patients:
Your health, safety and well-being are always at the forefront of our efforts at the ColumbiaDoctors Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Group, and now more than ever, as the COVID-19 outbreak unfolds in the United States and abroad. Please rest assured that our world-class medical experts and dedicated staff will be working tirelessly to take care of you — and we stand ready during this challenging time.
We have created this online resource guide to answer your questions, allay concerns, and provide tools to help you get the care you need. We are increasing access to our providers with video visits, offering a COVID-19 patient hotline and website, rolling out updated guidelines for office visits, and sharing reliable sources of information on the outbreak.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include cough, fever, and difficulty breathing. Please call us at 212-326-5705 if you are experiencing these symptoms, have been exposed to someone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, or you are returning from affected locations.
It is important to remember that we are New Yorkers — and New Yorkers are resilient in times of crisis. We are all in this together. We are here for you.
Increased Access from Home with Telehealth Services
Practicing social distancing is a responsible, wise decision at this time. The Nurse Practitioner Group offers Telehealth Services allowing you to remain safely at home while consulting with your provider. Telehealth visits are accessed through our new Connect Patient Portal. Apple FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, video chat, Google Hangouts, video, or Skype, can be used to provide telehealth visits.
Simple Sign-Up for Connect
Sign up for Connect, our online patient portal. After signing up, you will receive instructions on how to set up an app to conduct your telehealth visit. Connect Tech Support is available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays at 646-962-4200.
Office Visit Guidelines
Our aim as always is to provide world-class care, and to protect everyone during this challenging time. The Nurse Practitioner Group is implementing new safety guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our offices. If you are coming in for an office visit, please review our patient and visitor guidelines.
For Patients
For everyone’s safety, we have rescheduled non-urgent office visits. We will offer telehealth visits and office visits on an urgent basis for the time being. If your scheduled visit is confirmed, and you have a cough, fever, and difficulty breathing, please contact us at 212-326-5705 before you come in, to determine the best way to be seen by the right medical professionals.
For Visitors and Aides
If you are accompanied by a family member, a friend, or a medical aide during your office visit, please note that each patient may bring one visitor and one medical aide. Your visitors and aides must be healthy in order to join you during office visits. As an alternative, please consider using FaceTime or phone to stay in touch with your loved ones during your office visit.
